Kyle Getzen, CPA did an excellent job on our income tax in 2022. We had always used a CPA to prepare our taxes, but as we consolidated our investments and our tax preparers retired, I tried my hand at a web-based self entry program for a couple of years. Last year, I converted a portion of our SEP IRAs to Roth IRAs and the web based program wouldn't didn't accept the data. After spending hours with their live counselors on the phone, our draft return still showed us owing a huge amount.
I called several CPA companies as a new client, but did not get much interest until I called Morano and Osborn. Although it was busy season, Kyle Getzen took time to discuss our situation, and he agree to prepare our return. He met with me that day and assured me it was as I had originally planned when we made the conversion. Our tax return was completed accurately and without any stress. The cost to have the return completed including consultation was not that different from the web based program. Having a live professional available really made all the difference for us.

Prior to using Downing and Morano and my books were a mess. They never seemed totally accurate and more like someone with an organized mess. My book keeper never seemed to have the answers or had to do long searches to find them. Some of the faulty book keeping would cost us fines and fees. Since switching over I sleep much better at night knowing my books are are professionally looked after and my questions answered in a timely manner. The difference between book keepers and great book keepers is a game changer! I wanted to send a huge thank you to Downing and Morano for getting my books back in order and all the customer service that went along with that!! Great job guys!!
